The secondary polyurethane belt scraper (also called P-type secondary cleaner) is a secondary cleaning component for belt conveyors. It is normally mounted on the straight section of the return belt below the head pulley and used together with the primary scraper.
While the primary scraper removes most bulk sticky materials on the belt, the secondary scraper scrapes off residual fine powder, wet coal slurry and tiny caked materials to further clean the belt surface. It effectively reduces fine material spillage on the return run and material buildup on idlers, suitable for working conditions with strict cleaning requirements.
Product Advantage
1. Material Performance
Blades are made of high-wear polyurethane with better abrasion resistance than ordinary rubber. It is water-resistant, weak acid & alkali resistant, and not easy to crack or chip. Flame-retardant and anti-static customized types are available for underground coal mine gas environments.
2. Application Advantages
Separated blades allow single-piece replacement for partial wear to cut maintenance cost. Adjustable tension fits various belt tightness; flexible blade cushions stress to protect belt surface and fasteners.
3. Cleaning Performance
Thin sharp edges deliver excellent cleaning effect on fine dust and wet sticky materials, covering blind cleaning areas of primary scrapers, preventing fine materials from sticking to idlers and pulleys, and lowering risks of belt deviation and pulley lagging.
