The primary polyurethane belt scraper, also known as the H-type head scraper, serves as the primary cleaning component installed at the first cleaning position of a belt conveyor head. It is mounted slightly below the centerline of the head pulley of the conveyor. As the main coarse cleaning part of the belt cleaning system, it is designed to scrape off bulk materials, loose debris and caked wet materials adhered to the carrying side of the belt after discharging. It can remove roughly 80% of residual attachments on the belt, effectively preventing material spillage and accumulation on the return belt and ensuring stable operation of the conveying system.
Product Advantage
1. Polyurethane Blade Advantages
Made of high-wear modified polyurethane (Shore Hardness: 85~90A), it delivers superior wear resistance compared to ordinary rubber. With moderate elasticity, it will not scratch the conveyor belt or damage belt joints during contact. It resists moisture, acid and alkali corrosion, suitable for sticky wet materials such as coal slurry, mineral powder and cement clinker. Custom flame-retardant and anti-static versions are available for underground coal mine explosion-proof environments.
2. Structural Application Advantages
Adaptive spring tensioning automatically adjusts downward pressure to offset blade wear, eliminating frequent manual tightening; Split blade design enables single-piece replacement for partial wear, cutting maintenance costs; Simple overall installation and disassembly, compatible with standard belt widths ranging from 500mm to 2200mm.
