The GTD3000TX hydrogen fixed gas detector is an explosion-proof device designed for continuous monitoring of hydrogen (H₂) concentration in ambient air. It can give real-time alarms for gas leakage and prevent explosion hazards, widely used in chemical, new energy, metallurgy, hydrogen production stations and other industrial sites.

Product Advantage

1. Explosion-Proof & Safe for Hazardous Areas

• Certified Ex d IIC T6 Gb, suitable for Zone 1/21.

• IP65 ingress protection; flame-retardant aluminum alloy housing.

• Reduces ignition risk in flammable atmospheres.

2. H₂-Optimized Sensor, Accurate & Stable

• Catalytic combustion sensor optimized for hydrogen.

• Ranges: 0–100% LEL / 0–4% VOL.

• Accuracy ≤ ±3% F.S.; T90 < 45 s fast response.

• Long service life, low drift, long-term stability.

3. Non-Intrusive Maintenance, Cost-Saving

• Magnetic wand calibration/setup – no housing opening, maintains integrity.

• Single-person operation, minimal downtime.

• Built-in self-diagnosis for sensor and circuit faults.

4. Rich Outputs, Easy System Integration

• Standard 4–20mA analog output for DCS/PLC.

• Optional RS-485 Modbus for networking.

• Relay output for linkage with exhaust fans, shut-off valves.

5. Clear Audible & Visual Alarms

• Two-level alarm with 95dB buzzer + red LED.

• Tri-color LED: Green (Normal) / Red (Alarm) / Yellow (Fault).

• Backlit OLED/LCD display for concentration and status.

6. Industrial-Grade Reliability

• Operating temperature: −20℃ to +60℃.

• EMI/EMC protection for harsh industrial environments.

• Wall/pipe mounting; optional remote sampling for hard-to-reach points.

Product Uses

1. Hydrogen production plants, hydrogen storage areas and hydrogen refueling stations

Install the detectors around hydrogen storage tanks, transmission pipelines and refueling equipment. Priority shall be given to upper areas of the space, as hydrogen is lighter than air and tends to accumulate upwards. Cover potential leakage points including joints, valves and flanges.

2. Chemical hydrogenation units and petrochemical plants

Mount the detectors above reactors, hydrogenation pipelines and pumps, and arrange them at intervals along process pipelines to continuously monitor hydrogen concentration in production areas.

3. Power plants and metallurgical workshops

Install the units above generator hydrogen cooling systems, reduction furnaces and smelting facilities, especially on top of equipment and poorly ventilated enclosed areas.

4. Semiconductor, photovoltaic and battery manufacturing workshops

Place detectors above working stations, gas pipelines and gas holders, suitable for clean workshops and continuous production conditions.

5. Underground utility tunnels and enclosed equipment rooms

Deploy detectors along hydrogen pipelines in tunnels, and on the top of underground pump houses and cable shafts, focusing on enclosed spaces with poor ventilation where hydrogen is likely to accumulate.
